Dr. Albert Barrocas (March 20, 2008), was the Chief Medical Officer at Methodist Hospital, a not-for-profit hospital in east New Orleans, at the time of Hurricane Katrina.
Ms. Charlene Baudier (March 12, 2008), Executive Director of both Jefferson and Orleans Parish Medical Societies.
Dr. Floyd Buras (November 17, 2008), a New Orleans native, was the President of the Louisiana State Medical Society during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Dr. William Cassidy (April 17, 2008), an Internist and Gastroenterologist at LSU Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Kevin Contreary (May 6, 2008), a physician who practices in mid-city New Orleans, Carrolton, and Chalmette.

Dr. Phillip Gardner (April 15, 2008), a physician from St. Tammany Parish.

Dr. Charles L. McGarvey (June 20, 2008), was the Team Leader for the Public Health Services (PHS) deployment team and coordinated services for evacuees at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center at LSU in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Melanie McKnight (April 23, 2008), a Baton Rouge nephrologist.
Dr. Norman McSwain (July 7, 2008), a Professor of Surgery and Trauma Director at Charity Hosiptal. Also, Police Surgeon for the NOPD.
Dr. Louis Minsky ( April 18, 2008), Medical Director for the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness in the Baton Rouge region.
Dr. Kevin Stephens (April 17, 2008), was the Director of the Health Department in New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina and had a gynecology practice.
Dr. Mark Townsend, (June 16, 2008), Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Louis Trachtman (March 26, 2008), medical director of five programs in the Office of Public Health within the Department of Health and Hospitals. Dr. Trachtman was the President of the Orleans Parish Medical Society in 2008.
Dr. John Van Hoose (May 14, 2008), a pathologist in Lake Charles and Chair of the Disaster Committee of the Calcasieu Parish Medical Society.
Dr. John Wales (May 8, 2008), a physician at East Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
